Hello Members, we have an opportunity to partner with Delta College in assisting students to register to vote on September 16-18 from 10a.m. through 4 p.m. at Delta’s Midland Center, 419 East Ellsworth Street, in downtown Midland. Other locations (Saginaw and Bay City campus sites) are also available.
We suggest signing up for two consecutive shifts, e.g. 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., instead of just an hour, to improve our efficiency. Also please note there is a REQUIRED training session for all volunteers on Friday, September 13 from noon – 1:00 p.m. either via Zoom or in person at Delta College main campus, room E116.
This voter registration drive and training session will be supervised by Professor Lisa Lawarson, our speaker, along with Professor Kimberly Klein, for our successful 2024 Spring event on how to get young people engaged in politics. Any questions, please contact Carol McPherson at 989-832-1623.
